meet our tulips
Amy
Salon owner
With over 20 years’ experience working in various hairdressers in the West Midlands, Amy opened Tulip Hair, a hairdressing salon in Stourbridge.
Amy’s specialities are technical colours and colour correction.
In 2013, Amy achieved a Matrix Colour Masters after studying highly advanced colour theory and techniques for three months. There are only a handful of Matrix Colour Masters in the UK. So you know you are getting specialist advice at Tulip Hair.
Amy also worked as an colour educator for Matrix, travelling all over the country teaching new techniques such as balayage and colour knowledge. The education thread runs straight through the salon, with in salon training sessions constantly keeping all staff members up to date.
In June 2023, Amy completed the MASCED(Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection) Accreditation Programme.
Amy is currently studying Trichology at degree level, it’s a three year course which focuses the hair and scalp in a clinical way, ensuring that Tulip has expertise in hair loss and scalp conditions. Tulip Trichology is coming soon, watch this space!

Abi
Senior stylist
Abi has been a hairdresser at Tulip Hair for 11 years. She is a colourist and stylist and is fully qualified to NVQ level 3. Although she may come across as shy, Abi has a loyal clientele who love her friendliness and fab hair skills! She is also an expert on all things Disney and Disneyland!
Natalie
Senior Stylist
Natalie is a senior stylist with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Her colouring skills are amazing, and she is known for delivering consistently beautiful results. Clients regularly mention how kind, caring, and lovely she is in their reviews, and she has a natural way of making everyone feel comfortable and well looked after.
Becky
Stylist
Becky has over 9 years of hairdressing experience and specialises in creating beautiful blondes, from soft lived-in colour to brighter, high-impact results. She also loves precision cutting, making sure every style is tailored and easy to maintain at home.
Becky is known for her warm, friendly approach and enjoys getting to know her clients- whether that’s chatting about day to day life or sharing travel stories!
Katie
Graduate Stylist
Katie began her journey at Tulip as an apprentice and has grown into a talented Graduate Stylist over the past three years. Now qualified to NVQ Level 2 and progressing onto her advanced Level 3, she is continuing to build her skills with a real focus on delivering high quality results.
Katie offers the same warm, welcoming experience Tulip is known for, but at a lower price point while she continues to develop her expertise in cutting and colouring.
Lillie
Apprentice
Lillie joined Tulip after completing her first year of training at college, but without any hands on salon experience. Now she’s learning the Tulip way, not just the technical side of hairdressing, but also how to deliver the warm, personal customer service we’re known for.
